Does the GP2X have a flash player available for it? And if not, would such a player be feasably ported. The reason why I ask this is because I'm in need of such a small flash capable device. I've been looking into IPaQ's etc but the GP2X looks a nicer all round system for my needs?

There has been a flash player, but it was never continued, and it didn't get very far. You could try searching for that, but no, I wouldn't say there was a good player for the GP2X (yet)

My amazing Flash player only plays Flash 4 and below without sound.

As for porting another one, it's unlikely. Get a iPaq/PSP :p

How much time would a port take? And how much would one cost? I'm quite serious. I need to evaluate my options, and as a device the GP2X meets many targets - and comes in cheaper than an IPAQ.. Although the PSP has dropped in price.. its just the lack of connectivity on the PSP and Sony Royalties kill this idea off..

Decent open-source Flash players always use OpenGL for acceleration, something that would be slow on the GP2X. I've been through pretty much all of them, and Flirt was the only one that compiled and played a test movie.

I remember "orgasm girl" was a pretty fun hentai flash game. Took me forever to do though. (you were a heroine that needs to give orgasm to sleeping girls)

wait for the xgp.

Care to clarify? Will the XGP natively support flash?

No, but it will support OpenGL, which is needed to port the better open-source Flash Players (Flash 7).

Pffft. OpenGL. Ive got some ideas on how to do this without it. Let me get better at C/C++ first.

EDIT: Nevermind.
