It's incredible.

Using the Giga Pandora I was watching some video.

No USB-Connector. I used Pandora's Wifi.

I'm interested in Download speed so I always run the Sysinfo.PND.

I got about 400 K/s. That's really nice compared to my old unit.

That's what I wanted to show you: 800K/s download speed.

Then it happened. It's the same session but some minutes later:

1300 K/s download

I couldn't believe what happened but it's real. I got 1300K/s on my Pandora.

I'll never say again Pandora has bad internet.

Yes, for 1 second :)

Those peaks are not that meaningful - it's better to look at the speed that can actually be sustained. That seems to be about 450KB/s, which is not bad.

Even if that peak is not meaningful I like it :P .

I know it's only for one second but nice to actually get such a great number.

450 KB/s is great for Pandora.

Maybe it's because of the silver tape I removed from the wholes.

How did you fix this?

What do you mean? How I took the picture?

Luckily I was checking if snapsnap works on my Giga Pandora the day before.

It's a nice tool for stuff like that.

So why is there a difference in speed with different kernel versions? Has the wlan driver changed so much? Heard it in the irc too, that a pandora has higher wlan speeds with kernel 2.6.
