Phoneme-Sdl For Caanoo

Hi,

I have modified (controls only) the wiz release of phoneME-SDL-1.0.1 and compiled it for the caanoo.
You can get it here.
A source patch file with my changes and compile script is also included if someone want to fix something.
I have used the java sdk version "j2sdk-1_4_2_19-linux-i586.bin" and the phoneME source version "phoneme_feature-mr2-rel-src-b23-08_may-2007.zip" to patch it with the wiz's patch file, modify and compile phoneME-SDL for caanoo.

You should take a look at the included "ReadMe.txt" file or here for getting started using it on your caanoo.
"Opposite Lock 3D Racing" is included and installed as midlet no 2.

Thx Scachi.
I'll have to give Panzer Tactics another try. It's a nice mixture of Panzer General and Advance Wars and I really liked it on my old Siemens mobile.

Great! :D

Nice work Scachi

I've been wanting to play Starcraft Ghost (which is the closest thing to playing Starcraft on the Caanoo)

Many thanks. I tried Peggles, but there are some gfx glitches which make the game unplayable. Someone with more luck?

Cool!
But suddenly opera mini doesn't want to connect to internet via wi-fi.
Network is not working. I couldn't get it to work on my pc with this phoneME-SDL version too.

Nice work scachi, much thanks!

Wasn't there some kind of easy installer for the Wiz version? Would that work with the Caanoo version?

Here it is:

That would be great! :D

Anyone gave a try to Angry birds ?

For me the game launches but freezes on the loading screen after choosing campaign...

I don't think it is worth it as phoneme-sdl doesn't seem to work good enough.
I try to update phoneme-sdl to a newer version first.
