Pandora Hardware Question

It sounds like the pandora is almost an all in one package... Phone (Skype)?, Movies, Music, Internet Surfing, Video Game System,TV-Out, OpenOffice, and probably a hundred more... However, the one thing I haven't seen mentioned that seems to be lacking is a GPS receiver. Can you give any insights to if this is available on board and that no software is available? Or was this completely left off the board? Or is it possible to utilize a usb gps and is there any software available to support it currently. Thanks! :)

There is no phone and currently no Skype (tho Skype COULD make it in future, possibly via an ARM port for another machine, and there are other VOIP applications that could be used).

GPS - if you can find a Linux compatible GPS device the chances are pretty good that you'll be able to get it working on Pandora.

If you look at the hardware specs on the official website it doesn't say anything about GPS. If there was - they probably list it?

No GPS onboard, but it's pretty much guaranteed to work with at least some USB or Bluetooth receiver, we just need to wait until we get it to see exactly which ones.
There are some good open source software solutions, so I wouldn't be worried.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but...

On the subject of Bluetooth and wireless, will it be possible to turn them off to save battery power? Will this be implemented in the GUI or something you might have to delve into Linux for?
