Pandora backlight not coming on... help! :(

Hi guys... so my Pandora is still broke and I was going to send it off, but I've been very busy. In any case we have some HW Engineers where I work and so my friend is taking a look.

It turns out that the 223F part is getting quite hot and was not as secure on the board as I thought.

My work mate would like to know part numbers for the IC leading up this part if that is possible on the offchance that replacing the 223F does not resolve the issue.

Also would it be possible to order any specific parts if needed?

Thanks chaps!

Isn't this that chip that ED says that you can just resolder?

Edit: Notaz said to check it earlier in the thread. Try getting it re-soldered

That piece is just an surface mount inductor (small wire coil) not an IC. I'm actually kind of surprised its heating up, but maybe getting knocked around it might have developed a weak connection and now has a bit of resistance and heating up.
