I've replaced several Pandora cases years ago, but I was always too chicken to actually open the lid the proper way, in fear of cracking the LCD, so I've always just cut the plastic away in the corners of the lid to get it open. This ruined the old case, but worked for my purposes of recasing it at the time.
Now in 2022, given how scarce these Pandora parts are, I wanted to preserve my old black case while putting the new silver one on, so I was determined to open the lid properly this time.
I fought the corner of the lid with a screwdriver, my thumbs, and guitar picks for about 20-30 minutes, and I finally got it open without breaking it!
This was a victory moment for me, and I just wanted others in the Pandora world to share in it. I was a nervous wreck the whole time.
