Oldplay 0.9

ERROR:
Code:

svn: PROPFIND of '/oldplay': 301 Moved Permanently (http://www.nightmode.org)

Hmmm... I know I don't have all the dependancies, but that should not matter yet.

Oops, my bad, it should be svn:// and not http://. Changed the info.

One feature that I would absolutely die for would be a resume/bookmark function. Why? So I can use it as a full-fledge MP3 player for my audiobooks. Thanks for listening!

That'd be great. I don't like the default MP3 player on the GP2X at all.
And seeing how enthusiastic you are about this program is nice, you've added loads of features already in no time!

You should check out GPMadMP3 for the GP32 (if you have one) maybe to get some ideas.

And to the guy who requested USF-playing support:
I'm not sure if this is possible, the USF-Winamp plugin I am using here is eating 100% CPU on this P3 500Mhz and the system gets really unresponsive. :-(
But maybe the plugin just sucks.

In that case USF would be indeed awesome and GSF (GBA) and PSF (PSOne, PS2), too.
Although you'd have to rename the program "MostlyOldplay" then. ;-)

Ahm, I noticed that libsidplay1 is being used?

Is libsidplay2 that much more slow and CPU intensive?

(I already installed libsidplay2... I have this thing about installing mulitple versions of the same lib... It usually causes issues  )

Just wondering if there is any planned future move to the newer lib?

USF, PSF and similar will likely be too much for the gp2x.
Same goes for libsidplay2 (resid based) which I mention in the readme.
However, if decide to focus on the PC-version I might look in to all of that. Or if someone else writes a plugin for it.
