official tv-out cables any info


I was going for a connector that ... ... okay maybe 2x4 IDC ribbon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insulation-displacement_connector) would work if such things exist or then 2x5. I didnt think of them because 1) I dont do breadboards and 2) you can plug that in wrongly if there isnt a plastic receiver on the other side and 3) they are rarely used as external connectors, imho Mini-DINs would be a bit more "robust", but not sure...

Maybe there should be different kinds of cables.
 
When Silent-Hunter mentioned the .1 pitch connector I was imagining an IDC type connector.. Personally if I interfaced with a breadboard I'd make male end connector and run leads to the breadboard. But I suppose for some it would be easy to run 22 guage wires directly from the IDC connector to the breadboard.
