I wouldn't mind using that 360 Wii U Pro controller.
LOL!
This has been most of the comments I have read around the net actually(If it aint broke, don't fix it). Nintendo really seems to be covering all their bases with this one. Hell, I'm happy to just be able to get a wireless game pad that I don't need to thether to any damn thing. Cables are so 2 generations ago.
Sadly, this is the kind of device they should have delivered with the original Wii. All things wireless, proper social communications, and proper controls for ALL games. I didn't mind motion controls here and there, but being forced to use it just for the sake of "N" ramming down my throat was complete BS. Now after reporting losses for the first time in forever, and having share holders breathing down their necks, Nintendo seems to want to deliver all things to all gamers.
The Wii wasn't great to me, but it was far from terrible(although there where many things done WRONG). We got some really cool and unique games along the way. Sadly, I couldn't connect with friends and family, becasue of that friends code crap.
I'm pretty sure I'll pick one up, even if it's just to flip for a quick profit. I'm sure the WiiU will be the biggest electronic device this coming holiday season. The WiiU really looks like it can truly be the FIRST all-in-one set top box that everyone has been hoping for since back with the 3DO. So far, I really can't say it's missing anything. It's still Nintendo, so I'm sure they'll fuck something up before it's all said and done, but so far, so good IMO.
