I just received my GP2X yesterday, and have been messing with it almost constantly I really love this device. Anyway, I decided to install SDL today since I am sure it will be a requirement sometime down the road, and I had a few questions.
1. Where does it get installed? I can't seem to see anything in the NAND when browsing using the explorer, other than the SDL readme.txt.
2. If it gets installed to the user area, will reinstalling SDL be required if I were to format the NAND?
3. I tried the sdltest by Guyfawkes after installing and ran the series of tests. Is it normal that the WAV playback test seems to be played at super speed? Sounds like a chipmunk saying *something* at high speed. Same goes for the music playback tests. THey sound super quick. Is that normal?
4. How can one REALLY browse the NAND, to see the actual files that were installed?
Sorry if these sound like dumb questions to most, but I definitely do not want to do anything wrong to my GP2X, and whenever I install something I like to know exactly where it is going.
Any replies are much appreciated. Thanks!
