It's great that nestergp now supports zip files, but how do I convert loads of .nes files into individual zip files without doing them one at a time (last count was 480 nes files)

Well I dont know about winzip, as I use Win Rar like most people. I'd suggest getting Win Rar:

1. Highlight all your nes roms,

2. Right Click, select 'add to archive'

3. A new window will pop up, select 'zip file' not 'rar'.

4. Click on the 'files' tab at the top, at the bottom there is an option to put each file into a seperate archive - you'll want to do that.

5.Click OK, and wait.

Yeah, it sound long but it's not. Hope that helps.

shit
ive got the full nes rom count 8000 or so willtake me awhile to do all those

Thanks kop-that worked fine.I had tried all the zip utils i had but never thought of using winrar.now I got all my nes roms on my gp32.before compacting they took up 150 meg,now they down to 88 meg.Cool.

Wow. I've been using WinRAR for years (for RAR and ARJ files) and I never knew it had that feature. Thanks Kop!

does this mean that i could load a zip file with nes games that have long file names? so i could have finalfantasy.nes instead of ff.nes, or dragonwarrior.nes instead of dw.nes...
