Could someone falsify the information that his browser send to the server?

I think there was a windows browser that looked like a GP32 recently, maybe that's it's user agent string. I told this to vimacs, but obviously he didn't want to believe me...

testet it, it is "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; BrowserBob; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)"

That user agent has been cropping up all over the place in the last couple of weeks. I think empee was one of the first to spot it, and it appeared in my logs on the 28th Aug.

well, someone had a web server running on gplinux, why not a browser ?

It *could* be a modified lynx or something like that

most likely a modified user agent string which is very easy to do.

yeah, but what's the point ? It wouldn't fool anyone..

Ingeras already has released links for gp32linux...

He will release another pack very soon.
It could be funny to fake the user agent in this version in order to get some stats...
