A the title says which codepages are supported by the internal media player?
I tried greek subtitles and the only thing i can see is "Subtitle Error" and some chinese/jap characters.

The Characters were probably Korean considering that the GP2X is created by a Korean company.

What are codepages?

Subtitles that are supported:

SMI only, Roman (English, German, whatever) Charset, Korean Charset....

=/ we need a full Mplayer port!

Actually, it also supports subrip (.srt) and subviewer (.sub) but only english characters are allowed.

@Shihaku
Codepages: 1253 for example supports greek encoding.1251 supports another encoding.Codepages are been used in windows as well.

So the final answer is that greek SMI subtitles wont play?

Um... not 100% correct. .srt is allso suported format. I got "Subtitle Error" too sometimes, and I know what the problem was. When ever the letters å,ä or ö was in the subtitle it would say "Subtitle Error" instead. Some sentances didn't have either å,ä or ö and those worked.
