definetly SF.
but these two games in foundation had different approaches.
sf tried anime looking characters (which looks awesome now with sf3 and those capcom vs. series) and mk tried digitized stuff which was looking and playing very fine while it was MK2 then it went downward and dropped out of the league with the game switched to 3d.
so SF all the way. but mk2 was damn good to. (except all that over gore hype)
street fighter,, we just had the street fighter zero3 arcade machine put in our college (20p a play) and i have spent £30 on it in the last weeek,, it rules
i wanted to make a poll between just the two. of courrse most SNK fighters blow street fighter out of the water. (except street fighter III: 3rd strike)
MK was fun for a while but the gimmick soon wore off. By the time the series resorted to 'babalities' I'd lost interest altogether. Not played any of the 3D versions, mind.
Street Fighter.
MK is cool when you pull off a satisfying fatality move against your opponant but SF is the game that I dumped all of my money into as its just that little bit more enjoyable.
