Hi,

I have a GP2X and I have a few emulators, but what I would like to know is, what is the best way to play Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition.

Mame runs the intro slow and the music doesn't seem to keep up with the game, and seems to suffer from frameskip. Likewise Mame won't run Mortal Kombat 1 and 2.

Are there any alternate ways of playing the arcade rom on the gp2x?

Try FBA2X for Street Fighter II` - Champion Edition (as well as the other SF2 variants). ;)

Use FBA2X and play the arcade versions of the Street Fighter 2 games. Definately the best way to play them :)

As for mortal kombat, i'm guessing the best way would be to play the SNES ports, but I don't know much about that.

for MK1 i would say use the genesis version (with blood kode of course) MK2 is a no brainer with the snes version.

and use fba2x for the sf games (including alpha)

Right, I'll try fba2x. Managed to get it running ok with the sound off using mame. As for Mortal Kombat, I'm going to try the Mega CD port using picodrive :D
