The frontlight in my GP32 has been REALLY picky about working lately... It WORKS partially but is very very dim, later though after moving the gp32 around a bit, It's working again...

I was wondering, Are there any places to send it to repair it? (I bought it from lik-sang, but could I send it to say, craig and pay for repairs?) Or what could be wrong with my GP? (loose wire? Or something more to it?) :(

I shoulda ordered from craig =/

Hi,

the following is a no-brainer but areyour batteries low? If not are you using high quality batteries? Most importantly do you overclock your gamepark? However if there is a problem I am sure that Lik-Sang can help, everytime I have talked to them they have been very understanding and co-operative. I have also heard of people who have exchanged their gp32 due to personal damage (dropping it etc.) So I am pretty sure that they could sort it out for you.

1: brand new batteries.

2: Well, rayovac have quality right? :p

3: It's working fine now  It just seems like I need to turn it off/on a few times and let it sit for a minute.

Hi,

It seems like a connection problem to me... My surround sound in my room needs to be turned on and off a few times for it to work properly. Although it is working now, it's a good idea to contact LikSang anyhow. Because if it gives up in 9 or 10 months then LikSang will be less likely to replace it. Good luck anyway

could be a loose connection, but If its still under guarantee I would send it away for a Replacement or something... Only thing with doing that is you might get a one that wont overclock very well.... If the guarantee is Finished, go Wild and open it up and check for a loose connection / wire :D hehe...

It overclocks like a dream, (166 MHZ stable) Also, The frontlight issue seems to be a loose wire (it's RESTING on the contact) (Forget sending stuff in, I like patching things up myself) I need to get more solder though (out) But sometimes the SNES emu splits into 4 screens  then I reset and it's fine. (Dunno if that's an overclocking issue though)

Edit: Yep, it's finicky about cold weather.

Yup That happenes to me.... During game play when that happens Go into the Menu and then exit the menu and it should be back to 1 screen :D Works for me :D
