GP32 MIDI++

Is there a reason the demo won't load the midi file if you replace it with a different one?

New SDL-GP32 port: LUPENGO.
Download

This game use MIDI songs.

Timidity problem: I use the patches (like samples) of Gravis Ultrasound soundcard, but this is heavy. Lupengo, 2 songs = 2MB of patches.

Does anyone know how to create the patches?

Excellent job! I downloaded the smaller patch files (4mb) and put them in the patches directory. I loaded up a sonic 3 midi and it played pretty well :D
The only problem was on some instruments it would get very choppy and slow down, but most of the instruments were fine, and it sounded great! Keep up the good work. :)

I recorded a sound clip of it playing so you could hear what I'm talking about GP32 Sonic Midi (~500k)

Any idea what's causing it ?

It's true. Now, I've used 12MB Midi patches...

I've released a new (no port, new program) music player for GP32.

Features:
-Plays: .MID MIDI songs and MOD/XM/S3M/IT Trackers songs.
-File selector : Place you music when you whish.
-Screen Mini-Demo: You can see CPU uses.

Is the crackling sound and slow-down because some patch files are not there, or is it a bug in the MIDI code?

I'm going to download the gravis ultra sound 35mb patches and see if that makes any difference..
