GP32 Metal Slug Clone On Gp32

On a side note, you can play Metal Slug on the Neo-geo pocket emulator and 1942 on the nes, sms, c64, gg, atari st, gbc and probably a system or two I forgot. I have a theory that 1942 is the most ported game of all time :)

You do need the source code to make a clone,It still has coded to play on the gp32.
No, you dont. Clone is when they make a game that looks like the origional. You dont need the origionals source code to copy how the game looks and plays.

There was a Metal Slug remake in progress here, but it seems to have been abandoned. It's been "temporarily" on hold for the last 6 months or so.

I think what some people are getting ixed up with are clones and ports. Ports are nromally direct copies from the original arcade or game onto another platform, with no changes, that would require source code. Clones would would, as the game would be in a similar style to whatever but would not reuire the source code as it is not exactly the same game. I am also aware that 1942 is on other platforms (i have the C64 and Specy versions), but a standalone GP32 version would be way better, that Metal Slug game looks good, such a pity the project seems dead. :(
