Maxing Out The Nand?

Hi, I just wanted to say that maxing out the onboard memory will brick it since it is very close to most PDAs, and their internal flash being full does not do any damage. But I could be wrong.

If it does prevent it from booting, you should still be able to do a firmware reload off an SD card and fix it. I wouldn't worry too much.

Don't worry. The place you put your skins into and the files for the OS are in different parts on the NAND. In fact, the NAND is divided in different partitions and the place you can access with the GP2x file explorer is only ca. 30 MB.

Regards,
Stephan

I have filled up the part which has the OS (vimacs' fault :)) and it still works fine.

2.0 firmware partitions the NAND so the OS is hidden from user view and filling your user partition is harmless. You've only got about 32mb to play with for user added contents though, IIRC.
