Hallo.

Just fiddled around with my F-200 and found out, that the music player has a "Lyric on/off" function.

So is there lyric support in the player? No exactly discription is found in the manual.
Somebody got a clue?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Stephan

Cool! It worked. I always put simple .txt files in the music directory, but the .irc extension and the timestamps in the file are required.

Thanks a bunch for the info, yodaofborg!

Hmm, firmware 4.0.0 isn't as bad as I first thought...

Regards,
Stephan

Ugh...That is L, the 12th letter of the alphabet, L as in "Lyrics". The LRC files are put in the folder in addition to your MP3s, they require your mp3s (so put whatever.lrc in there along with whatever.mp3)...like how a damned playlist won't work without any mp3s. You don't turn them into lrc files, that makes no fucking sense.

USE YOUR FUCKING BRAIN ALREADY, NEARLY EVERY POST I'VE SEEN FROM YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN UNNECESSARY IF YOU HAD SOME FUCKING GRAY MATTER UP THERE.

Excuse me blah no one here has got brains that's why they ask for help including you everyone needs help when they don't know what to do.

I know .irc files go with mp3 track all i want know how to create the .irc file for my mp3 track.

That distant popping noise you just heard was Blah exploding in rage :D

Seriously, sukhigp must be a troll, there's no way anyone this dense could function in real life without somehow strangling themselves trying to wipe their own arse.

Umm... typo? Because that's too extreme... It's true that we all need help sometimes, but I'm a little offended on what you have posted (if that's how you meant it). :(

Blah already correctled you on this. They are lrc not irc files. :p
Although Blah was indeed harsh, he does have a point you know. When I look at the Emulation forum, a lot of the threads in the first page are from you, and pretty much all of them are asking help in how to make the emulators run properly. You should really use the search of this forum, or even Google, or read the Readme files more properly before asking help. As I personally found almost all my answers from doing those. If I sound harsh also, forgive me, but I just wanted to comment. :p

EDIT: You also sometimes revive really old threads, maybe look at the date before replying? :p

No manjuu you are not being harsh a person like blah he insulted me swearing using words like fucking well he doesn't need to swear which isn't good at all not on the forums, if i ever post a question i don't want blah to responds to them.

Asking for help is not a crime he used really horrible words next time blah should use his brain not swear on forums.

I wanted to know how to make .irc no one has given a proper answer.

Well the simplest answer is to look for for them instead of trying to make one.

It requires a lot of work just to make a LRC file for a song (it requires timing the song & inserting the corresponding lyrics). Just find them as they are readily available for most of the songs (unpopular ones might not have any).

Just make sure that the filename of the LRC file matches the audio file & that the music player supports it (the built-in one in the F-200 does) & is turned on. :p

more to the point, why would anybody want to sing-a-long with their gp2x?
Cos they can? :p

[edit]

Added the GP2X F200 as a device that works with LRC files. Sorry if there is any confusion, but I am pretty sure its LRC (tis why I capitalise sometimes :p)
