This is timely for me because I just went through this today. The stick over time will become loose and slip off when you least expect it. Just some words of warning to those are not aware of that. I did manage to find my stick later in the day(whew), but not before freaking out and looking at all my old controllers to see if they could be easily modded to fit. Speaking of which I did try with some limited success the retrocon mod, but due to my inexperience with a dremel tool made my sticks unusable. You can check the sticky gp2x problems mega thread at the top of this forum for some more ideas that people here have come up with. I really hope that replacement sticks will be offered by gph or some other entrepreneur in the [beg]very near future[/beg].Frankie posted on Dec 17 2005 at 10:00 PM said:I'm not sure how but I have managed to lose the joystick on my machine.Any ideas as to what else I could use instead?I know there is the old GP32 one but any alternatives would be nice.

Well, considering that the closest thing we have to official sources recommend you loosen the stick for it to work properly, I think lost sticks should probably be covered by this sort of thing. Especially when you take into account that the stick in general is just one great big design flaw!EvilDragon posted on Dec 18 2005 at 09:53 PM said:dennis20014 posted on Dec 18 2005 at 05:12 AM said:If you lost it at why dont' you just send it back and get it fixed.
