A friend of mine just got his GP32 a few months ago and is playing all the korea games out and he says they are pretty good. He's Korean and been living in California for the past 6 years.

Anyways.. he is really interested in translating the games into English but he needs someone to give him info on how to make a patch or how to contact Gamepark.

He is a master student at the University here and has a very high level of English. Anyone talk to any of the gamepark officials or anything? Please reply ASAP!!

Wow....

Well, There was a program in which to patch GP games a while back... Forgot exactly what it was though...

Also, get your friend to contact gamepark immediately! (In both english and korean) This may give them faith in re-releasing the games again in the US or in Europe!

If anyone knows anyway to get into the scripts and such of the GP32 games then post here, immediately! This could be the best shot we have of english GP32 games!

He emailed Gamepark about 10 mins ago. The thing is, GamePark is a kinda shady company so they might not get back to him. If anyone knows how to patch. He is also a Computer Science master student so you can give me the info to tell him about it!

He means commericial games.

In case Gamepark doesn't contact him back, someone might be able to extract the script for him.

Oh and Octavius, there was no need to double-post...nobody just looks at the Developer's board.

he said he wouldnt mind starting with some pdgames that are in korean so that you guys can see his translations. Also, I just found out that he was translating Korean dramas into english too.. so he has experience.

http://www.romhacking.com/ everything he needs is here. i recommend starting with SNES hacking, and then take the experiences found there over to everything else. basics are all the same (or maybe even easier on the GP32 since most stuff is in separate files). and dude, there's a very important thing. if he doesn't have enough patience, romhacking is NOT what he wants to be doing. this needs months and months of work to get comfortable with. really. good luck.

i have mill....so this would be so cool.....i hope it all work's out.....
maybee gamepark would take notice if everybody in the engish speaking work got on there back's about it....
i wish your friend "good luck"

he doesnt wanna hack roms or anything.. what he really wants to do is find korean software companies that make GP32 games.. so if you have links for some of the good small companies... post them here!
