Hello,

I'm porting the KOF91 2D fighting game engine.
It's the first "playable" version. A bit slow, musix must be changed,
but it begins to be fun.

KOF91 is a MUGEN ancestor. You can add characters, background, change musix...

Find it here : http://www.geocities.com/rtb7/files/gp32/kof91.zip (>4 mb)
or here (thanks to vimacs) http://silverphalanx.animeavas.de/vimacs/kof91.rar (>6 mb)

and read the text files for more infos (where to find characters...)
Original PC version : http://www.kof91.com

I don't know how many time it will be available on my website (I don't know the download limit on geocities...if there is one).
vimacs website seems to be better :)

sources will be available in the final release.

Downloaded it fine, unzipped it to GPMM, launched it and all I see is Mr Spiv's Bios Monitor as it crashes on launch.

What should the directory structure be ?

gpmm\kof91.fxe
gpmm\sprites
gpmm\wav
gpmm\midi
gpmm\bkgds

or should all this go in a kof91 directory ?

Unzip everything to gpmm\kof91 and create the subdirectories there.

This is Excellent although about half speed it is very polished.

Great work THOR

when i tried it, it just restarted my gp32... :(
i think i have done everything right...
but when i choose kof91 in the menu, it loades, short a black screen, gp32 restarts
im using the europe firmware... any idea?
i also had to creat any directory on my own, since pc-links gives an error message if i want to copy directorie (blank spaces not allowed or something like that)

all the data have to be in a folder called KOF91 in GPMM.
only KOF91.FXE needs to be in GPMM
There is no file with space in its name...
check the unzipped data.

i dont think that i made something wrong, but with the normal pc-link i get this stupid error with the spaces... when i use the hack, it gives me a timeout after some minuits... :(
then i creat any directory and copied evrything on my own...
but then the gp32 crashes... is there any other tool which i could try to copy the files?

download the zip
unzip it
copy the unzipped folder to GPMM\KOF91\sprites on your SMC

restart KOF91 and you should see the new character in the list.

hmm squidlink crashes my whole system... (win2000)
after i start it press something or close it....
and in pc-link it says, if i want to copy folders, that there are spaces in the name...
arghh really annoying..

edit: now it copies with pc link...
i had the kof91 folder on my hd in a folder with spaces in it ... that was the probleme o_O
had it in: D:\gp32 games\kof91\
because of that it didnt copy...
ok now lets see if it starts this time

EDIT2:
runs now.. and its really cool...
thanks for this great game!
