Yinlips YDP-G18 seems better.

I just wish these products had better names. Yinlips? The Wiz? Ugh. They would sell a little better if they actually had sensible names. At least come up with a name that conveys what the product is/does when it is exported.

There is a video review of it on my channel. The channel also has other tutorials on rooting the device and how to get into recovery and some gameplay and emulator information

Looks too much like a PSP clone, and I really dislike those things, because then it's not unique enough for people to go "hey wait, what IS that?"

Yeah, looks are a good reason for buying a hand held device. I'm sure fans of the SNES and PS1 would give up game compatibility just to get the occasional "hey wait, what IS that?" reaction from someone.

Well, another way I see it, is if they couldn't come up with an original shell design and had to copy someone else, where else was cheaped out?

Here's the thing, these devices claim to have emulators built in, but look how that always turns out, compatibility issues. Or how about this, is there even an SDK available? So how about homebrew support. I'd hate to see another Dingoo.

Don't get me wrong, I like my Dingoo, but the native emulators are seriously lacking even when homebrew, but then to get a good emulator you need Dingux, but then you have other issues relating to that also. It's just not worth it.

I'm perfectly (for the most part) happy with my Caanoo. The Wiz had audio issues, but the Caanoo is great on audio. Only thing that falls short on the Caanoo is VSync.
