Hi
after few hours playing with it:
cacko 1.23 is a good OS
I added a support for X11/debian which is a little bit too slow to be usable (I mean Firefox, thuderbird....)
I have my wifi dongle working with a powered USB hub
SD cards seem to be slower than CF cards due to HW limitations...
(they are used as MMC with just 1 chan or something)
I formated my 2GB 80x CF card in ext2 and it is working great
I think this can be used as a 'real' laptop if you want to do some 'office' work
Gaming is not the best thing (keep your GP2X )
Video will surely improve (I hope)
Maybe someone will think about porting a good media player to it
after a week of use Ive decided to give up.
I really cant stand scripts and linux in general
Such a shame I know but I think I will go back to WM5
Less possibilities to play with...but less things to have to learn to use it
Ive found some dict readers (in edict format)
wonderful...I used Zten with japanese dict on SD card
that was short but that was good
a nice fuckin' piece of HW requiring a little more brain that I can
Im selling it on the net, if anyone is interrested / a special discount for GP32X members only
