Is This Tv Any Good?

HD on a 19" tv really isnt worth getting. Id say for 26"s and up its cool, but otherwise youd be better off saving money.

That samsung range is very good though, ive got a 32" model myself.

Why don´t you just buy a 20" LCD monitor plus a YPbPr to VGA converter? It will cost you less and you could use non-HDCP devices.
links?

Screen: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/22-Widescreen-LCD-Mo...1QQcmdZViewItem
YPbPr Box: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YPbPr-Component-VGA-...VQQcmdZViewItem

22" Widescreen, DVI, VGA, 5ms for 200 GBP incl P&P.
If you want YPbPr Component input, add another 26 (inc. P&P) GBP for the YPbPr VGA Box.

BUT:
-It won´t handle any Analogue input (RF, Scart...) and it doesn´t support all versions of the PS2, only those with YPbPr output (most are YCbCr)
-Anything that isn´t HD resolution (like the Wii) will look more or less blurry. That´s the same for all LC displays though, your TV would probably have this issue too.

Hmm... I'd like to use it as a TV too, so would the other one be better?

id get the samsun over both of those. The wharfedale will just be a poorly manufcatured product as the company long ago licnsed their name out to other companys to produce inferior dvd/av products, although the high-end speakers are still good. The panel inside the samsun will be of a higher quality than the acoustic solutions one too. Both of those brands are pretty much argos exclsuive, i.e. cheap unreliable crap thats likely to break/deteriorate fairly quickly.

Samsung isn't HD ready.
Also the Acoustic Solutions one was £150 earlier wtf.

are you 100% its not HD? The stated resolution looks to be HD to me, so maybe a bit more research is in order? Either way like I said, it really wont amke a great deal of difference at those sort of screen szies. Youd be better off going for a 26" model, if you search around the net there are plenty of discount codes for dixons currys and pc world floating around, and this shouldnt make the price difference massive. But really, i wouldnt go with either of those argos models.

The Samsung one doesn't have HDCP, and something else iirc.

WTF Dixons, currys and pc world don't tell you whether or not the tv are HD ready
