Is pyra good choice for classic computer gaming ?

I must admit, I never tested out the USB support. Hatari, ported by Magic Sam was the emulator I used to run ST software. I neither have any MIDI hardware with USB support to try this out with.
I have a vague memory of having one of the ST emus running on Pandora incl. USB MIDI but high timing lag and jitter made it nearly useless. Native MIDI apps might be still better on Pyra than ST emulation though. Btw, MiST is actually nice solution for modern day ST MIDI sequencing.

for sure additional emulation layers increase lag, if not jitter. I just recall mike paradinas saying he was super efficient with early cubase versions, so I'm curious to try them out.

I also have a home-rolled midi sequencer that I plan to use on the pyra. getting a bit desperate to try it out..
