Hi,

I've got a new gp2x with firmware 2 on it and works great with fa the outcast emulator.. but.. some stange behaviour

- mame gives some white stripes and in some games very odd colors
- drmd white stripes (I dont mean the brown on the sides) + odd colors in fa outrun and dune (very red)
- If I change LCD adjustments in the setting (slide from left to right) I see nothing happening, at least I expected mona lisa to change a bit.

Is this normal? Could it be a setting?

Roms played with outcast (atari-st emulator) are working like a dream and the colors are great..

so I'm puzzled..

Thanks for your kind suggestion. I hope your technical knowledge is as good as your knowledge of your (I assume) native language, and you can help a poor Dutch guy with this matter.

well I can't help you out much with the problem of the lines on the screen I only get black lines with the drmd in the new squidge hack version. You could try an older version if you can find it to see if that one does the same thing. As for the mona lisa... you would think she would at least smile if you turned up the level. I never noticed any differance either. Though it could be lighting so I don't think that parts broke, but the white lines in drmd are strange. Can't speek for mame cause I haven't loaded the latest emu for it.

Lol, I'm sorry about that, get a bit worked up sometimes, call me the Grammar Nazi.

It seems, however, that you were sold a turd. Send a pleasant email to where you bought it from listing completely what is wrong with it, and I'm sure they will replace it for you at no extra cost.

Kudos, and good luck!

Paul.

Strange... I didn't expect here to smile, even though she was a cheerfull type. I did expect the colors, the brightness or the position of the screen to change.

Because the ST games are working great I'm still not convinced the GP2X is broken. I'll wait another day or so and then I'll contact the supplier.

Try reinstalling the firmware/OS first

I'm having this issue with an adaptor as well, so batteries are not the problem.
