Ah, but there is an xbox emulator available. It's not finished, but it does run some xbox software www.ngemu.comjlebrech posted on Jul 30 2003 said:The reason theres no xbox emulator is that it uses encryption along with a custom windows and directx, its as compliacted as the development of WINEhq.org because you have to rewrite everything.
Absolutly! Without emulation, only a small number of people could play C64 etc. games nowadays. And don't forget: Every computer will break sometimes and you can not repair everything. So someday there will be no working C64, Master System, Amiga or XBox left. Without Emulation, all those great games will be lostRoboJoe32 posted on Jul 30 2003 said:NO ONE ever codes emus thinking *hehehe I can rip off companies!* they code it thinking * Man i'm going to be helping classic gamers everywhere* and they are great for that, emulators have allowed me to relive the glory days of the SNES, NES, Genesis, and play games that were never officially translated in english! (Tales of phantasia, bahamut lagoon, wonder project J) Or games never released! (starfox 2) Emulation is the best thing to happen to gaming since the SNES in my eyes.
