Is any active development still happening?

Hi

Every now and then I look at my Pyra gathering dust and check back here to see if we have a usable/stable OS and there is never any update, but also I haven't seen anything to say it is dead. So I was wondering if anything is going on behind the scenes or has everyone given up and moved onto newer devices? No judgement, just managing my expectations.

Thanks

Dave

I mean when I get the energy I attempt to port software, but it's been a while. There is a bit of dev talk in the Pyra channels on Dragonbox discord server.

thanks for your efforts, I was hoping the OS might be getting some love too. I'll check the discord rather than here

We have a usable and stable OS already but the link to the Debian 12 releases are a bit hidden.
Two big flaws still exist: no energy saving mode and the AESS sound driver not working.

I have another point to complain regarding the dbp repository. Uploading new stuff is a pita, many transfers are interrupted and using ftp upload doesn't work either.

Likely more of a site issue and not anything Pyra related, last time I used the repo it worked fine.

But since the dbp system is a vital part of the Pyra and this site is the only way to upload to the repository, I thought it's worth mentioning.
Imagine those problems on Nintendo eShop or the PlayStation Store. You won't say it's not console related either!
However, the uploading issues got worse this year. Before, only very big files were interrupted.
