You might remember me posting about not being able to open any ports awhile back... I said it was because of my ISP, but that isn't the case.
So, I'm making an apology to Sprint/Earthlink: They don't suck. Their 1Mbit ADSL package kicks ass.
But, I wish my dad would stay away from the modem.
Because this isn't any modem, it's a ZyXEL Prestige 645, router, firewall and ADSL modem in one.
Problem: Only one computer is connected to the modem. That computer is running ICS, which has its own NAT and DHCP. Unfortunately, the modem/router was also running NAT and DHCP.
Answer: Configure NAT on the router for a one-to-one connection, and disable DHCP.
I now have a high ID on Emule
