How To Install Windows Xp Professional

Take a big fat dump on your harddrive.

That's pretty much the equivalent to upgragint to pro from home, and it's free!

Well, there are a lot of questions involved. Can your computer handle XP? Or did it come with Vista and you want to downgrade? Or did you screw something up, and need to reinstall it? If it's a laptop, are XP drivers available (I know that doesn't sound like a problem, but it's becoming one with some pre-loaded Vista laptops)?

Also, do you actually own the disk, or are you asking where you can download XP? Because we can't answer that here. :p

1. Take Reading lessons
2. RTFM

:p

Seriously though, Alex's link should do you well

EDIT: daclassicgamingmaster is pretty much spot on- if you put the cd into your computer and reboot (providing that the boot from CD option is on) it should automatically launch the setup program.

Turn on your computer put the cd into the drive tray and make sure the CD drive is the first boot device.
Follow the on screen instructions on installing Windows XP.
I think Windows XP Professional SP2 is a excellent OS.

Stick a fork into a power socket.
Make sure to grip it nice and tight.
