Hi all,

I'm in the process of putting background music onto Warlock of Firetop Mountain, but I need to be able to convert a WAV file to either MOD or SEF format. I downloaded a program called GP32Converter but it didn't work. Are there any other programs that can do it?

All help appreciated,

Paul

PS: I would have searched the forum but of course you need four or more letter words so MOD and SEF didn't qualify..

You can't do that, as MOD-Files have instruments and sequence data and WAV files are simple recorded samples.

I have never heard of SEF-Files, to be honest...

There should be a WAV to SEF converter, as far as I know the SEF is the original GP32 sound format.

And actually you can "convert" a WAV file to a MOD file. Create a new song in any MOD editor and load the WAV as the first sample. Place one note in the first pattern so that the song will consist only of the one file. Its rather stupid approach but it should work :)

EDIT: Does not this work?
