I remember some IRC software that allowed you to use aim, xmpp, and msn protocols, damn if I can remember the name.

I don't know if this is out of the scope of your project or what, but I had this idea about a pop-up chat interface....

Perhaps, if support for aim etc. was added Hellollo could have this sort of functionality. Check it out.

Word prediction may well be better as part of GTK than built into individual programs. Cool either way though.
