Somewhere along the line, I deleted and/or edited the links in GMenu2x for the default GP2X apps, specifically the music player. Now I want to add it back again so I can play music with it without having to exit GMenu2x first, but I'm yet to find any way to do it (can't find anything in the NAND or on the SD card).

Any thoughts?

PS: I have CraigAmp and OldPlay that I use, but I want the default player as well.

download gmenu2x again and go to sections/applications in the newly downloaded folder and then copy the files you need (music, mplayer etc...) to sd/gmenu/sections/applications overwriting the old files

EDIT: or edit the files in the sections folder, the link for music player is /usr/gp2x/MusicPlayer

Thanks norm!

Good news: (editing the file in the sections folder) worked exactly as expected.

Bad news: I realise why I deleted it - it gives me nothing but a black screen. D'oh!

Perhaps tomorrow I'll upgrade to the non-beta GMenu2x 0.9 and see if it helps.

Thanks anyway. :)
