If your gp32 is a flu then be think very carefully about removing the screen as the plastic reflective layer (behind the front plastic screen)for the light unit is very senitive even brushing dust from it can mark it. And as it is quite prone to static you will get dust on it.
If your gp32 is brand new then I would try and get it repaired under warranty. But if you must do it yourself then go to GBAX.com for a guide on how to do it and they also sell the replacement screens
