I appologize if this has been asked before, I tried searching for the topic online and I have had issues. Thanks for any help given

I downloaded the scummtools and lame 3.92. I copied the monster file onto my HD. I then dragged the monster file to the lame file and it created a smaller file.

12.9mb for Indy 4
15.8mb for sam and max
23.2mb for DOTT

now when i dragged these new smaller files onto the gp32 (in smart media card mode) i got an error (it said "unknown error occured.") this happened with each file. now i read your suppose to use the extract file... but everytime i have clicked on that it opens a dos window and closes it quickly. So i dragged the new monster file onto it... didn't do anything... Just to tell you the extract.exe file doesn't have an icon or anything, just that little dos window (maybe i didn't compile it right?)

So i am a bit confused on how to get these files to work... any help is appreciated.

oh and i don't know if this helps but i am using scumm 160 mhz V5 on my Gp Blu. It's not a blu + from what I know, just a normal blu

i have also tried using OGG Vorbis but for some reason it doesn't run (it'll run in a dos window and quickly shut off). I have also tried dragging the files onto any of the vorbis programs but nothing seems to change the audio to .sog files. help please :( gp32_console

yeah my problem is the window closes so fast that i can't even type or see what is happening.

has anyone had sucess doing this?
You have to create a batch file or edit a shortcut file to have "X:\extract.exe" --vorbis monster.sou

I can't give exact instructions as I don't have it on me nut if you right click on the ogg creator thingy which came with ScummVM and click on "Create Shortcut" then click ont he shortcut created and click properties and add --vorbis monster.sou or whatever after the Writing (which is in quotation marks) in the Target box...

Can't remember what the name of the program or the command line operators for it (sorry)

edit: just posted this in your first post then realised you had made a new post...

Yay it's working (i think) It opened up a dos window and it's shooting a bunch of crap around in the dos window... so I guess that's good.

Edit:

Oh my god It DID IT! :) Thank you Hanz and Raven!! I really appreciate it
