I have an iMac G3 and I was thinking of getting a GP32 system. I am new to all of this so I have no clue about any of it. is it possible to use a GP32 with a mac? and Do I need a flash media reader or can I just plug the GP32 directly into the comp through USB? I am running os X.3. What sized flash card do you reccomend I get, would 64mb be enough?

Thankyou

There is a mac transfer program, 64 mb is a good start for games, you will probably outgrow that in 2-3 months. I have 2 - 128MB cards, both full of games (probably only really play 64MB of them though).

There is a program called gpDRIVE 0.5 that will let you hook the gp32 up to the mac as a mass storage device, no drivers or software needed. This would be good later, as it is much faster and useful than the linking program.

Also, a card reader from newegg.com is like $5, so you could just splurge and get one.

Oh, Poo, I must upload the newer version..
You don't need any patches to use GP32 with the latest version of MacOSX. A cardreader is faster and easier, than using some sort of linker program.

I have written a GUI for Mr. Spiv's Maclink which will be available soon...

Any Mac user here with a serial/UART cable? I mean... do you have need for serial support for Maclink etc?
