The GP32 was on "Two and a Half Men" last night.

Really? That's something.
Yeah and it was supposedly a gameboy.

I found out about the gp32 from EGM (electronic gaming monthly). It had a miniscule blurb on it; the headline read something like "what the kewl kids use" or some shit like that. Funny how 5 sentences spurred my interest for an obscure korean handheld

No idea on the epdisode name, this must be say the third time I've seen it. Anyway the main guy was having fun with his brother's lawyer basically.

The Gp32 made a major appearance in two episode of gamesville on sky one (you know the show who had that guru guy who was cool as f). Gameville loved it and showed pinball dreams, also metioned its powerful processor, movie capablities etc
and just before they finished the topic they said it was capable of emulation but would not go into that as it was a touchy subject (that was the selling point for me). After seeing the program I went straight on the net and found you guys & brought it a week later. God bless these free adverstiseing campaigns (how would you know otherwise)

In a conversation I had recently with a friend we discovered something pretty damn cool. In the latest version of Trillian it defines possibly unknown words, you get an explanation if you mouseover them, anyway here's what it said for the GP32:

I just thought that the explanation was quite amazing and I thought I'd share it with you. Has anyone else found anything cool and unexpected like this?

I edited that slightly a while ago.

The GP32 was featured on Gamezville on Sky One a couple of times.
Thats how i heard of it!

So no one knows what the episode was called? I would like to have a look at it (I like that show, btw. Charlie Sheen is a very good comedian. But I can only see it in german (not using the famous donkey))

EDIT: maybe someone can remember the title when he reads it:

http://epguides.com/TwoandaHalfMen/

maybe that one?

http://www.tv.com/no-sniffing-no-wowing/ep...16/summary.html

yup, definately sounds like it:

Charlie: Whew... Where are you going?
Jake: Looking for my Gameboy.
Charlie: Forget your Gameboy. It's a beautiful day. You can watch TV.

Makes me think of AOTS last night, they were wishing for a real opensource console, saying it will never work

I first saw a GP32 in EDGE magazine.

Thats the whole reason I looked it up on the net, started developing for it (geepee32) and then finally convinced my wife I should be allowed one, on the condition that I develop a PDA app for it so that I can use it as my PDA :)
