-r0lf's blog- entry #1-
At first, I thought a blog was a cool concept, something that i'd like to get into. There was a long time when blogs didn't have a name, and i thought well I've seen this sort of thing before, so this could be kewl.
But you see, the quality of a blog is largley depentant on the author's lifestyle, and their writing skills.
The problem i have with blogs today is that the authors usual write like they are some sort of famous rock star. Which i suppose some of them are, but most of them arn't, they are just regular people doing regular things. And a real rockstar's blog is usually boring to read (blah blah went here, played gig, blah blah signed t-shirts).
They tend to end up a platform for author to critisize, again, theres nothing wrong with that. It's just that most of them are hopeless at it. Critisize with finees, or atleast substance.
... the good blogs seem to be more an insight into someones life. I've only read a couple that didn't piss me off, and make me want post my unwanted opinion to their forum.
anywho, who in GP32 land has time to write to a blog, all the interesting people are busy coding / posting here / playing / promoting the gp32?
...not to say that all blogs are sh*t, just the bulk of the ones i have read didn't really inspire. Some one point me to one that is interesting....
