1) Correct a bug into circle tool.
2) Rewrote the fill function, now function very well.(I hope)
3) Added a undo(Y) and redo(X) possibility.
4) Added a possibility to change the value of JOY speed
into palette section and into virtual keyboard.
5) Added a possibility to change the value of JOY speed
into drawing mode
6) Added a screen magnifier for Free Hand tool and Fill
Tool. This function is activable by configuration window.

----- for who not know the GP2XPaint -----

GP2XPaint is a graphics editor, bitmap and image
manipulation. The program opens and saves files
as BMP and size is 320x240 pixel.
GP2XPaint allow the user to pick up to two colors
at a time: foreground (primary) color (B),
background (secondary) color (A).
The program comes with the following options :
- Pixel Magnifier
- Free Hand draw (Pencil)
- Text
- Line
- Rectangle
- Ellipse/circle
- Eraser
- Fill With Color
- Pick Color

To install the program copy the entire 'gp2xpaint'
directory into the root directory of your SD card.

YAY!

I have downloaded and had a quick go and it is looking very nice. I have not got much time at the moment but as soon as things quieten down expect more rubbish pix for your gallery. An undo function is a nice addition - good thinking. Thank you for working on this.

agreed nice application, the pixel magnification is superb feature :)

btw mr jabberwocky hope you are busy with the next installment of Psst! :)

Yeah, the zoom feature could be like it usually is in editors. I'd like to control the other cursor on the right, instead of drawing in the unzoomed mode and seeing what would it look like zoomed. Hopefully you'll fix that!

Very nice, I'll give it a whirl today and see if I can draw anything worthwhile :)

Out of curiosity, why does it need to be on the root of the card for?

The program uses many external files.
In order to avoid problems of installation and search of the files,
above all the various languages files, I have decided to limit the
choice of the directory. :)

I had trouble in the gp2xpaint filebrowser, I can go down any directory but not up.

Oh, Zoom window, cross-cursor and other black drawn program parts should switch their colour if the pic is black.... black cursor over black background is not that useful ;)

Filling a complicated pic is not complete sometimes. Somehow an drawn thing, where you want to fill the area around, blocks the fill-colour like a shadow of the thing, looks funny. :)

I would like to see an option for pic-size + an real zoom.

File--->New--->Size---->x->y---->ok

Other formats besides .bmp would be useful to.

File----->save as----->.png, .jpg, .gif.....

i haven't tried the new version yet - is there a grid for when the view is zoomed in for precise pixel placement?

a feature that could be added later on is layers, with the ability to make other layers transparent (with a sliding scale) for sprite animation purposes. i'm interested in seeing where this project goes.

Firmware 2.1.1. I had browsed a little bit to deep I think. From GP2X paint folder I was going back to the SD root, then somehow I was at the Nand and than in the secured Nand Firmware area! From there was no way back, ".." wasn't working. Luckily after exiting the program I was back in the paint folder. :)
