Hi All,

SimCoupe emulates a SAM Coupe - an 8-bit, Z80-based home computer released in 1989 by Miles Gordon Technology.
For more information on the machine itself, including history and technical specification you can go on http://www.simcoupe.org

Originally developed for UNIX and DOS systems by Allan Skillman, it has been then improved and ported to SDL by Simon Owen, Dave Laundon.

GP2X-SIm is a port of the CVS version 0.90 beta 4 of SamCoupe.

What's new in this version ?

- major speed improvements !

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

You can find it there : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/

Enjoy,

Zx.

The king of esoteric emulators does it again! I've never seen a Sam Coupe let alone played anything on one but I am curious to see what it can do! And here's a nice way to do it!
It's funny, ever since I discovered hand-held emulation, I've found it really hard to go back to emulation on my PC. Why is this?
The reason I say this is I'm keen to give this a try and yet I probably could have done so on my PC but have not.

Thanks for the update ZX-81 :)

Thanks again ZX for porting to the GP2X :)

Thanks for all of the good work.

The 8-bit gp2x/psp emulation king strikes again!

Thanks for all your consistent updates and releases and like slaneesh I will give this a try just to see what a sam coupe can do. :)

Now I have to ask, what's good to play on this? I know it's Spectrum compatible but what native games could it play? I think I read ages ago it had a good Prince of Persia but that's been ported everywhere. And I played it to death on the Amiga already. :)

What games unique to the Sam Coupe are worth having a look at?
