Gp2x Pics

Thanks for the pics. Are the lines on the screen because of a broken board or testing purposes? And I see the Conexant chip which I'm guessing is for TV-out, any sign of how the tv cable is connected?

Who wants to play Guess Which Resistor(s) to Do the Pencil Trick To? :D

I wonder if the fine print under the logo is legible even in 1080i...

In your opinion is the screen brighter, dimmer or the same as the BLU+?

Is the black level darker, more washed out or the same as the BLU+?

Ooooooh... hardware porn! :p Take it off baby, take it all off!

I'd like to also know - how does the control stick feel? When you push a cardinal direction, even tho it doesn't make a click noise, do you get any tactile feedback at all? Can you feel the direction making contact at all?

The colored lines on the screen are just there until Linux is loaded. You don't normally get to see them, but sometimes I need to talk to the bootloader rather than linux, so they show up.

seeing you have the devboard now? does the thing have RGB out? or Rf out?

Well, the Conexant chip supports RGB out yes, which I assume is on the EXT port on this board, as there's no where else for it to go. This is a prototype board though, so it will probably change.

I can't tell for sure at the moment, but the logo seems the same as the BLU, but the colored lines seem brighter, so it may be configurable.

the stick feels nice to be honest, you can't hear it, but you do get positive confirmation that it's been registered.

How about the black level (area on the screen where no pixels are lit) Is it the same as a BLU, or is it darker or lighter?

Also I noticed there is some text under the logo. It seems like the display does not have the res to display it. Why would it be there if not readable? Is that just placeholder or is it the final logo?
