I has the strangest bug - if you touch ANY button (also d-pad) it resets.
However if you let the game run without touching any thing, it will run a demo showing pretty much every part of the game (sea travel, sea battle, town-screen, sword duel, map, ship spotted), pretty much without any glitches... that matters anyway. On GenEmu it ran, but didn't display important elements(the ship).
Doesn't run on Fgen.

@ kotd - think your post was cut short mid-Ultimate Mortal Kombat... No verdict
Hi all,
As always, I'm after games which are (1) simple, early title from say 1988 or 89, like Sonic and Mickey Mouse, no raster effects like Road Rash but (2) fail very early on, within the first second or so, without having to even touch the joypad.
Why? Well these games are very easy to spot the bugs - you only have to run Cyclone for a few frames before the reason for the failure is clear.
Note that just because I'm (for example) looking at game A, doesn't mean I'm neglecting game B (e.g. Road Rash) - they should (fingered crossed) be the same bugs causing some of the same problems. it just that they are easiler to track down in game A.
Examples of games I am interested in? Well, Sonic 3 before the last version was an absolutely perfect game to try and fix - only took an hour at most. Within about 11 frames the game encountered a missing opcode, added the opcode an fixed it.
Sonic 3D same deal for the same reason, and Shadow of the Beast: the second intro screen after barely a second, with no keypresses needed, was corrupted. Fixed that fine.
So what do you reckon, for the latest version of Gigadrive (0.019) is the simplest game which fails earliest with no joypad input? And I'll try and work on that tonight!
