Gianas Return is coming!

I've been talking to CHN about giana for ages now and i must say you will like the way it plays it looks fantastic.

It looks cool when you see his first screenshot and you see it progress into 16bit graphics even tho it's done in 8bit ;)

Im sure he will release development screenshots its quite interesting to see the leap ;)

Now we must all wait......... :(

The screenshots of this game are some of the best I've seen for the GP32. I think this game alone might help European sales!

The old, old competition had screenshots of the game in action.

CHN showed me screenshots altho i can't tell u where they are but it starts off where he had giana and a floor then progresses to the screenshot you see on the webpage :) you dont know how hard it was to contain that the games was still being worked on when every1 said it was dead

But its like he started in 4bit (c64) then went to 8bit (nes) then went to 16bit (snes)

altho the graphics look 16bit they r really 8bit but u must say he has used the right amount of colours ;)

do you know if it's a straight GGS port, of if there will be new items, like from mario 3 and such?

And if you could, ask CHN if it's ok for me to submit the game data to gamefaqs.

It looks very good, but you can still tell by the level design that it was originally made for a low-tech machine.

Cooljerk

They basiclly did a direct remake with updated graphics.

The reason they took so long was not about permissions but the orignal author of giana sisters wanted the game to play as orignal as possible so email was slow when they had to get all the levels exactly like the orignal and the jumping behaviour etc.

They always had permission but the authour wanted it to stay true to his orignal design.

but the progress looked like it started off as c64 then nes (i know they didnt have 1 im just going be design) then snes which is why the game looks so good :)

Great, the GP32 could really use a nice platformer. And since I had a C64 as a kid, Giana Sisters holds much more nostalgic value for me than all damn "fat-plumber" games put together!

Will it be a free game, or is it going commercial?
