Umm... GTA isn't open source, nor does it use SDL.
Openglad is C++, and it doesn't perform too well on my old P1 233mhz computer. I found from Shippy that this computer is about 20% or so more capable than a GP32, so it probably wouldn't work anyway, and it uses way too many keys.
Hmm...For Exult I'd have to re-write the "non-standard memory manager" that was ripped out (the way it got 20mbs of performance out of El 386's 8mbs of ram), among other things.
And if A600's right about Rocks'n'Diamonds, that leaves only Abes Amazing Adventure (I am NOT scaling down the graphics for Bubble Train). It will take me a while on this crappy old dial-up, but I'll see what I can do.

Exult (Ultima 7 engine!), only seems to need SDL Default Resolution 320x200, supports OGG sound instead of Midi. And has been a DOS game, so 8 MB should be enough.
Okay, usually, it needs a mouse... but I think that can be changed.
if you are still unsure which one to start, i have 2 ideas. Games i'm really
missing are a kind of a Metal Slug Clone or something like Xenon 1 & 2
where you can upgrade your spaceship ...
