Now that all games are accessible from one list, I've noticed that you have to reset the GP32 each time in order to play another game where as before you just returned to the list (for that particular make of game, i.e Atari.fxe). Is it possibly to do this for all games? I would guess not as it would have already been done but i'm just wondering.

:)

If you press L + R you go back to the previos menu so that you can choose anouther game.

You can't in Mame GP32 1.5. Pressing L+R brings you back to the settings menu again and you have to press "b" to go back (reset GP32). Pressing L+R at this stage has no effect.

Pressing B doesn't reset my GP32 but takes me back to the gameslist. Pressing L+R in the gameslist resets my GP32.

That's how it's supposed to work.

Press R+L takes you back to the settings screen so you can change settings for the game you've just played (if you weren't happy with them).

Then when you've finished playing with the game, pressing B takes you back to the full list of games. And that should automatically select the game you just played from the list.

How odd . Every time I select "b" (to go back), my GP32 always resets (for every game I've played). I thought this was how it was supposed to work. I have a BLU+ if that makes any difference.

What Firmware do you have? That's the only thing I can think of that would make a difference.

I'm using the standard one that came with the GP32. When you start the GP32, it displays "Play" and "PC Link".

Strange, I use that too. I've got a standard BLU though.

Are you sure all the files are in the right place?

I'm sure they are. I copied the structure from the Mame GP32 zip onto my SMC. All the games play just fine.

Problem sorted :D. I feel such a fool . I have a habit of changing the names of fxe's. In this case, I had renamed to MameGP32 1.5.fxe. Point 4 (Installation) of the readme jogged my memory .
