I wonder if it is possible to play flash games on the wiz. You know, like bloons, kittycannon, slap the monkey, defend the castle, etc. I know you can download the games and I know there is a flash file category on the device, but do they work on it? Is there a program you can download to make it work?

From experience I can say that most of the flash games on the web do not work well at all on the Wiz, e.g. Bloons.

However, the Hapland series is smooth, but there is no way to pan the camera if you are zoomed in with the Wiz, so it is difficult to play. Go for the most basic flash games you can find; those are the ones that have a chance at working.

EDIT: I remember a thread that was created just before the Wiz was released. It had something to do with adjusting flash games in a way that will make them run smoother, but I cannot find that thread at the moment.

i started a topic few weeks ago: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/49405-flash-games-for-wiz/
it's dead, but Yeti sports games were mentioned, and they work quite well

Flash games tend to be a hit or miss: They either run good or crappy.

I'm sure there is a reason for it, but I never bothered to look to far into it.

From my experience, Kitten Cannon and Spank The Monkey work good. Warthog Launch might, but I can't remember.

uh nice work at reviving a pretty old topic :p but ya one of my problems with the wiz is the horrible flash player. limited keyboard emulation, barely any mouse emulation, compatibility sucks since only basic games basically can be played, and the least they could do is allow the person to change the graphics quality for the games.

I know this is a kinda of stupid question, but what exactly do I download with file2hd? I understand that most flash games are stored in .swf format, but there aren't any .swf files on the page according to file2hd. I can fish it out of my browser's cache, but it's kind of tedious.

in file2hd make sure you check the objects bubble, it narrows it down a whole lot
