Hi All.

My digital camera only has a small lcd screen and it's not very easy to view
the picture taken. So I tried putting GPFM on to an SMC and then using it in my camera. Now I can clearly view the pictures taken with the camera once the card is put into the gp32. I have know idea why it took me so long to work this out.
No doubt someone else has done this already but I thought I would share just incase.

This is something that I have been doing for a long while now, but I am getting a new digital camera for xmas which uses XD media cards, so I won't be able to do it anymore :(

I am sure i saw a SDcard to SMC adapter somewhere. Or it might have been securedigital to SMC. But this would probably need drivers to read (i.e. PC drivers). Possibly put abily to use adaptor into custom firmware? What is the highest capacity SD card anyway?

EDIT: this ISN'T the one I saw, but it is still an XD to SMC adapter (up to 128 meg)

xD to SMC, 3.3v up to 256 meg xd!!!!!!!!!

:( That must be anoying. I'm not looking for a new camera atm but I'll have to keep that in mind.

does that REALLY work with 256mb xd cards? because i'm SURE that NONE of the card adaptes can go upto 256mb xd-smc...different pinouts aparently.... such hate....

What kind of cameras do you guys have?
What resolution are your pictures?

I have an Olympus camera that takes pictures at 1600x1200, and I have never been able to find a program that will display them on the GP32.

Any ideas?
