Hi dear developers,

Could I join this project? please give some kind guide. Thanks a lot. :)

And 7 weeks later the Spandora 2000 was seen on the streets of Hong Kong, complete with preinstalled pirated ROMs.

It seems I know this project too late...

Where could I access the source code? and the source code of OpenGL ES library will be released?

Source code of what? Pandora is hw (and its not released). If you want linux kernel its on TI site. Havnt seen anything on Opengl library. It's an open stanard so i assume something is public domain.
You might want to make your questions a little more precise and clear.

Sorry for my misunderstanding, I just thought Pandora is open source project, including Hw and SW.

Thanks you, Pickle.

Pandora is made of two parts: hardware and software. The hardware is a secret (as far as I know) but the software is completely open. Once the Pandora is released, you can contribute in just about any way imaginary to the software that runs on the Pandora.

That, Tuff Li, is the beauty of Open Source Software. Spread the good cheer. :D

Oh, and see this thread: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=40480

For all things OpenGL ES check with the Khronos Group.

Hardware-wise, its a pretty tight-knit group in Craig and Evil Dragon's team. Which already decide on whats all going to be in there.

Software-wise, this "Project" is pretty open. Of course, you got some members who got/getting dev boards which gives them that upper leg. The first batch of hardware is intended for devs only so that they can find bugs and problems in the hardware. However, it's pretty open. So please join us.

Im curious to know do you have any credentials?

The whole project is "open" in a sense, or at least it is trying to be. Pandora was designed based on user suggestions, and is even still being modified and improved based on user feedback. There are aspects of the hardware which are still kept secret because of agreements with TI, but other than that, the process has been pretty transparent.
